The Talisman by Vera Wang was actually an accident at My Glass Slipper, this was not the shoe we ordered. We had ordered the plain T-strap version. You can imagine our surprise when we opened the box and found all the shoes adorned with these giant dangleing gaudy crystals. Vera Wang agreed to send us the plain version but in the mean time, suggested we keep the jeweled ones we just received. As sales of this shoe soared, 'Gaudy' became 'Gorgeous' and the rest, as they say, is history. The Talisman became one of the most sought after couture shoes at My Glass Slipper which is even more impressive when you consider the lofty price of $335 and 4 inch heel, not exactly a popular combination. Vera Wang platforms always sold well but the Talisman cemented its place near the top of a long lineage of high heel winners.
